30
Hour Famine
30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger.
Young people fast for 30 hours and raise funds to help feed and care
for children around the world. By sacrificing and serving others, young
people learn to think outside themselves and see the world as Christ
sees it.
ACTS
ACTS is a movement of college students to create
awareness and promote activism on the global AIDS pandemic and other
issues of injustice. ACTS specializes in resources for creative
activism, which is a unique and innovative way to raise awareness of
issues and encourage active response.
Caregiver Kits
A project that invites church communities to assemble kits containing
essential health care items, including soap, washcloths, and latex
gloves. Kits are sent to encourage volunteer AIDS caregivers in Africa,
Asia, and Latin America.
Child Health Now
More than 24,000 children under age
5 will die today of preventable causes including malaria, HIV and AIDS,
pneumonia, diarrhea, measles, and complications during pregnancy and
after birth. Join with us and do what you can to keep these children
alive. Together we can end preventable child deaths.
Gift Catalog
World Vision’s Gift Catalog allows you to give life-changing
gifts to children and families in need—things like goats,
clean-water wells, or seeds—in the name of someone special.
Families, school groups, Sunday school classes, and others can work
together to make an impact for children around the world.
Journey to Jamaa
Journey to Jamaa is a flexible, 45- to 90-minute, interactive,
film-based worship service designed for your church. Your congregation
will experience poverty through the eyes of two children from Uganda.
This experience also provides a powerful opportunity for
you, as the pastor, to bring a compelling biblical message about
God’s heart for the poor with a chance for your church to
respond through child sponsorship.
World
Vision Experience: AIDS
Step Into Africa.... Come walk in the steps of a child living in an
AIDS-affected community. World Vision’s interactive exhibit
features a stirring audio tour combined with captivating photography
that will transport you into the heart of Africa.
World Vision Magazine
A quarterly publication, affirms people responding to God's call to
care for the poor by providing information, inspiration, and
opportunities for action, linking them with children and families in
nearly 100 countries where World Vision works.
Youth Advocacy Training

schools, and community organizations for this 20-week, in-depth local
youth leadership and civic engagement training series.
