Welcome to World Vision
Resources
Why
these resources?
Ending global poverty and injustice begins with education:
recognizing the extent and causes of poverty, its comprehending its effect on human
dignity, and realizing our connection with those in need around the world.
Who
we are
World Vision Resources is the publishing ministry of World Vision, a
Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to helping children,
families, and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by
tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
What
we do
World Vision Resources educates Christians about global poverty,
inspires them to social justice, and equips them with innovative resources to
make a difference in the world.
Our
promise to you
>> Your contribution

Author Submissions
World Vision does not normally accept unsolicited manuscripts. In addition, World Vision does not assume responsibility for any unsolicited manuscripts which we may receive. As such, it is recommended that sole original copies of any manuscript not be submitted, as World Vision is not responsible for the return of any manuscript (whether sent electronically or by mail), nor do we guarantee a response. Further, in receiving a submission, we do not assume any duty not to publish a book based on a similar idea, concept or story.

Laurie
Delgatto

As the Senior Editor for Books and Educational Publishing, Laurie
Delgatto finds new resources for World Vision to publish, and makes
sure that they come together from concept to finished
product. She brings to her position a love of the written
word, ministry, young people, and the call for justice. She
has experience as a writer, editor, educator and church minister.
Before joining World Vision, she was on the editorial staff of Saint
Mary’s Press, and served in the field of youth ministry for
more than two decades. She is a published author and has experience
working with ministry leaders and educators across the
country. Recently Laurie has become addicted to watching her
nephews’ Little League games.
Meet
Jojo Palmer
When
you order from World Vision Resources, Jojo Palmer will make sure
you receive excellent customer care. A 23-year veteran at World Vision,
Jojo keeps our marketing and distribution department running. She can
answer your questions, troubleshoot your order, or advise you on the
right resources to fit your needs. She’s also a busy mother
of two—great at multitasking.
Jojo is married to Doug and has two children: Darnel, 7, and
Chloe’, 5. Her pride in life is her family. She’s
one of 12 kids (Dad said it was cheaper by the dozen…not
sure
if he got that one right!). She serves at her church, cooking for needy families in the community. She enjoys any
outside sport, especially if it includes sand, waves, and sun.
